Galaxy Map in VR

I use a HOTAS and VR and I'm wondering if what I see in normal.

When I open the map there is a white light at my home station that is so bright that I can't look at it and there are so many lines radiating from it to other system that I can't see any thing else.

Also I'm wondering about the use of the mouse. It seem to just be floating. I can't seem to get it to point to any system. It does move around but I can't get it to "stop" and highlight any of the systems in order to select them. Using the mouse would be so much easier and save me from having to map HOTAS buttons in order to move and select systems.

The radiating lines thing can be switched off - it’s one of the filters on the Galaxy map. I’m not sure where it is, but that’s the place to look. Possibly the fastest/most fuel efficient route check boxes? If I remember correctly you can choose the fastest route checkbox, deselect it so the lines disappear, but the game will remember to plot routes in the fastest manner.

As for the mouse problem, I think it is this: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/28904 or possibly this: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/42694

Hope that helps 👍

You are right about the mouse problem. I'll keep an eye on those reports to see what they do about it.

Your also right about the route lines. I didn't think it would show direct lines that were of a greater distance than I could jump, Thanks!

I tend to use the three keyboard axes, wasdrv, with mouse for rotation. When the system slots into the reticle, use mouse to select target/route plot, etc.
