Galaxy map needs fixing

Go to Galaxy map. Click view. Click map (not realistic). Tried clicking every button and combo's of. But can't get anything to change colors or show routes.

How can I fix this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to have the master category checked as well, if you've expanded anything. Otherwise, not sure. Assuming your current jump range is more than zero? (you didn't sell your FSD or have no fuel do you?)

I had a similar problem with the Galaxy Map, where none of the options would work (could tick on/off but no changes happened on screen)... This affected trade routes, showing systems by colour/size, route planning using the 'fastest' option would still use the 'economical' mode, in the options tab I couldn't turn on/off the screen grid, star names etc....

This is how FD support advised me, and it fixed the issue. (one thing to note is though, even after restoring my binds folder which is detailed below I still had to set up my controller again)

Up to you if you want to give this a go... :)

Could I please ask you to shut down the game and launcher, then navigate to this folder and backup your bindings (if you have custom bindings)
• C:\Users\$USERNAME$\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

Then if you could please go back to:
• C:\Users\$USERNAME$\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments
(Please note this is the "Frontier Developments" folder with a space between the words, not "Frontier_Development" with the underscore)

If you could delete the Elite Dangerous folder and then attempt to verify the game files via the launcher.
After the files have been checked, would you load into the game and check to see if this has improved any of the issues you have been seeing.
