Galaxy map not showing states

I've been looking for systems in an outbreak state but every system's state shows as 'none'.
I had a friend check for some outbreak systems using eddb and found one showing an outbreak for him, so i checked it in the galaxy map but it still showed up as 'none'
So i decided to go there anyway to have a look and it is in a state of outbreak, but it is still shown as 'none' in the galaxy map.
Is there any fix for this?

there is some weirdness around galaxy map cache of states.

generally it is worth it to restart the game after every daily bgs tick, when new states go live - but this doesn't always update all system states on the galaxy map, sometimes you'll have to open system map ...

i can only assume its there to reduce loading 20k system states once a day
