Galaxy Map Problem.

Hi,

I have a problem with the Galaxy map that has just occurred, when I go into the Galaxy map and select navigation, the enter system name function does not work.

The keys to move around the map appear to be stuck on so the enter system name does not work at all.

All that happens is the map has the blue directional arrows on it so the keys you need to enter the name just move the map.:mad:

So I cannot type in a name for a system to jump to.

When not in the system map the keys work perfectly as normal, I haven't made any changes to the ED setup.

I have restarted the game with no better effect.

I have never seen this happen before!

Any ideas as to what is wrong please?

Thanks for the replies!

Any system name will not work, I cannot put in any letters as the keys are focused on the map and just move it around.

Yes, the search box is the one that doesn't work, pressing the mouse button to select the search box causes the box to flash once but not highlight as it usually does, very strange.

Checked for stuck keys I presume?

EDIT: Check all inputs just to be sure ;)

If it happens again, try going to a different window (minimising ED), and fire up a program that uses the keyboard, e.g. Notepad, then scribble a few characters, and close... reopen the ED window and tying should work.

I get a similar problem occasionally, and that clears it every time.
