Galaxy map route dotted line suggestion

When you plot a route and don't have enough fuel to make it the galaxy map represents it as a dotted line. When you fuel scoop enough fuel the line becomes solid to indicate you can make it. I don't think it should be either or. The dotted line should slowly turn into a solid line based on how much fuel you have.

The dotted line will become solid to each destination along the route as you scoop enough fuel. It wouldn't make sense to make it solid in anything less than whole system jumps at a time since you can't plot anything between systems.

Yes it would make sense because it would let you see how much fuel you have scooped and how much more you need. It would show your progress.

What would make better sense would be to show a version of the jumps remaining info on the refuelling popup with an indication of how many jumps on that route you are able to make with your current fuel level.
Then, as you scoop, you can see this "jumps within fuel range" indicator increase as appropriate and without need to consult the galaxy map.

Do you need to close and re-open the galaxy map for the dotted line to change? I wasn't sure how this worked.

It would be really neat if the galaxy map could notify you if you have a fuel-scoopable star coming up in your route before you run out of fuel. It would save having to analyse each star along your pathway to see if it is time to invest in some scooping.
