I've had this problem for a while now even when in other areas. I've tried type the entire name with CAP lock on and off and I get nothing. If I copy the name from EDDB, it will show up then I can search like normal but once I leave the GALMAP and go back the problem continues.It seems to be working funny for that name set, others seem to work fine, for instance typing in BLEOU AICK gives me a listing, adding the BLEOU AICK U gives me nothing unless I add more characters and complete the name. It seems a peculiarity with that set of names. Interestingly if I copy a name from the galaxy map and paste that into the search box it seems to work ok, so I think there's some sort of character peculiarity in the names in that region that doesn't get typed in properly if you manually type, but does if you copy and paste, very peculiar indeed.
Curiously enough after mucking about with the copy paste bit the entire thing seems to have fixed itself and now works fine even though it did play up at first, I'm wondering if it's the fact there are so many systems in that set that's causing issues and it just needed to be forced to load the list properly, but it is working for me now;

Thank you for reveling the "secret"...money in the bank.I have had this happen to me and I know a solution/workaround.
You need to first select any random star in the desired sector to search (in your case Bleou Aick, so pick any random star that begins with that). Then you can use the search function to explore specific boxel codes without issue (e.g. UX-M). This is how CMDR Veronica resolved the issue; you can see in their screenshot that Bleou Aick YE-A g3 is selected, so now it works since a random system in the sector is selected.
If you don't select any random star first, then the game will not show any search results for any boxels (3 letter code) unless you name a specific star system by its entire name. Then it would only give that star system.

As you can see in the above image, I'm nowhere near Bleou Aick, but I selected "Bleou Aick XX-M B22-2" and now the search function works as intended.
