General Galaxy Map / System Map revamp Frustration

The Galaxy Map / System Map revamp is SO frustrating. I've been playing since release.
PLEASE FIX these things, :


System Map;
1) Stars / planets information panel is no longer automatically shown. You have to click the star / planet and then the information button on the right. Frustrating!
Can we PLEASE have back the information on mouse-over or at least automatically open that information panel when opening the system map!?! PLUS atmospheric information needs to be put back in the main information screen and not in planetary information.
2) A star's first discovery name is no longer shown in the stars information box. Only plantes first discovery can be seen. Frustrating!
Can we PLEASE have back the first discovery information... literally all first discovery, first mapped and first footfall should be displayed loud and proud to anyone looking at an object and not hidden away. It's an honour to have your name displayed.

Galaxy Map;
1) Star systems star types are not displayed on mouse-over. Frustrating!
Can we PLEASE have that back so that you don't have to click a system to get the information? Furthermore, as above, open the information panel automatically.
2) Route planning is bugged.
I had a case where a route that worked before Odyssey couldn't be mapped. Literally anywhere, except 1 system distance, from Ploea Fraae GW-E d11-14 couldn't be mapped.
It's a neutron star... maybe neutron stars are bugged in your new release?

Bookmarks;
Applies for both System Map and Galaxy Map. Bookmarks are a PAIN to delete. You have to copy the name of the system/star/planet/settlement, go to the bookmark management, paste the system/star/planet/settlement name and then select it and delete it. Frustrating!
Can we PLEASE have back the delete bookmark option directly available as a button when you select a system/star/planet/settlement?!?!

Totally agree, to see who discovered a systems stars and planets, you have to grind through layers of ui. More timewasting unnecessary grind.

I agree. Also the following would be nice to have back:

1) being able to navigate to a bookmark on right click menu, especially when those bookmarks are for system bodies, stations, tourist beacons or fleet carriers.
2) see fleet carrier jump distance in the map as you are choosing jump destination (or indeed at all - if it's there I cannot see it)

And I'm wondering just how far from the bubble I will have to travel before I visit a never-before-seen-by-human-eyes moon of which the surface isn't littered with distress beacons!

I agree. The galaxy map is so frustrating right now. It was so good like it was. Just like outfitting. It made me play less then I actually thought because of all the hassle.

This map will cause RSI. What a total waste of movement for nothing. Just set route to a starport.

It might be work with mouse but I do use a joy / hotas where I click rather then mouse move.
Let's pray they don't change Horizons / ED to soon.
