yep learnt that early on while exploring, thought to myself well that system is within range...not on the list
Can i just select a syst.....
(i rapidly starting laughing like a madman much to my brothers dismay playing fable across the room)

You can already adjust them to the most economical ones as well as to the most fastest ones in the galaxy map menu.
And there exists all possibilities between them.
