Yeah, OP, it's a fun movie. One that I can throw on anytime and find entertaining, even if just as a side distraction.
My Cousin Vinny is another comedy that I regard in the same way.

Fantastic movie, with a super solid female lead. The courtroom scenes were brilliant.

Loved her in Alien and Aliens, and she was really good in this one too
I rented it and liked it, but I wish it had been more family friendly - not sure why they didn't go for PG.
I still find it hard to believe he is gone. Man I'm getting old.
