Galaxy Storage Points for Universal Cartography

I suggest the introduction of Storage Points accross the galaxy to save Universal Cartography Data during long exploration trips.

These should be few places (let's say 10x for example) typically on the outer arms of the galaxy and evenly distributed all around (so no in the bubble) where you can upload your cartography data for backup. These are similar to the small facilities that orbit around planets (the new POI's introduced with Beyond 3.3). By using your ship's data-link on these structures you save/retrive your data.
In case your ship is destroyed you can come back here and download the data that you saved previously.
Cartography data can only be written on one place so if they have been uploaded to the storage point they're not in your ship's computer anymore.
You can retrive these at any storage points when you finished the exploration trip and you want to sell them to a station.

All storage points belong to a network so you can download saved data from any storage point. But you can't download data to another ship's computer. The hardware signature is required for safety reasons (and to avoid in-game exploit).

Why stop there, why not simply give us the option to go back to where we died? and pick our data core whenever our ship is destroyed, that, way we can pick up any "unsaved" data stored in the ship data core. Then this function would be usable by everyone.

Because with storage points you still need to plan your trip. With your suggestion there's no planning. Even though it's a better option than what we have now.
