Galaxy/System maps

Ok I have an issue with the UI panel in the maps. I can move around fine and select systems, planets etc

But the UI panel I am having issues with, I cant move through the tabs at the top on the panel. My arrow down key on my keyboard selects the exit button fine and the up arrow highlights the panels main window but I cant move through those dam tabs.

I understand the mouse is not used here, ive tried the left right arrows, I've tried every key on my keyboard and nothing works. I cannot find the key bind in the options either to set this manually.

Its driving me mad!

PS: I have a short keyboard (no numpad)

This is from memory (and looking at my mcdee jpeg) but I'm fairly sure the binds are called something like next/previous UI panel and are probably under Mode Switches.
