Is the GALPMAP Ship Icon's noticeable absence when using stronghold carrier hangars a feature or a bug?

While I can confirm that I don't have a ship icon on the map with a ship stored in a stronghold carrier shipyard instead of a station, I cannot see how that would benefit streamers.

The only difference I see is that it's called a carrier.
Does the ship icon appear when you store a ship in someone else's fleetcarrier? I never tried that.

It's more likely a bug than a feature.

People can see GALMAP on a stream. I did one last night, and I'm pretty sure people could see the GALMAP- you know what'd be good is a Streamer Mode that allowed us to block out certain things from the HUD, GALMAP (I know GALMAP allows to toggle icons, etc
