SALVATION-UTOPIA LINK RAISES CONCERNS - 10 April 3309
Despite Azimuth's attempts to quell the rumours that Salvation has transcended his mortal form and become a sentient pop up message, discussion rages on about the Nemesis Failsafe. Its similarities to the Utopia Commune's archive of digital brain matter is a point of interest and concern for boffins around the galaxy. Did Salvation really reverse engineer Guardian technology to allow him to browse Reddit 24/7 without limit, or has he secretly been working with the Commune behind the scenes? Scientists who claim to have had some experience investigating the Commune, say their technology has no traces of Guardian tech. As Salvation seemed particularly fascinated by all things Guardian, it doesn't seem to fit within his supervillain origin theme to say he used their tech to become the new Lawnmower Man. In an effort to potentially distance themselves from the rumours that they might have worked with the man who potentially brought about Ragnarok, the Utopia Commune has graciously invited some Alliance scientists to join them and discover the truth for themselves.

CAINE-MASSEY VICTORIOUS IN CORPORATE CONFLICT - 13 April 3309
After the Caine-Massey CEO took some involuntary sick days on account of being dead, war erupted between Caine-Massey and Torval mining after Caine-Massey claimed Torval was behind it. As Torval had been unwilling to let Caine-Massey storm their ship, a big brawl erupted and both sides put out the call for Independent Pilots to come help make the other side deader than their side. After a whole week of trying to unalive each other, Caine-Massey's partner, Tavig Blue (who Caine-Massey had asked to do the ultraviolence in their stead as they were washing their hair), emerged the victors. They were able to take control of the Orchestral Falcon, (winner of this years 'Overly flamboyant naming' award), and capture the suspected villain. All ID's on the suspects person were found to be fake so the implication is still strong that this person may have been a professional assassin, so we can expect tensions to remain high as investigations continue.

That's it for this week, bit of a quiet one if you don't count all the explosions and rumours of transcending the limitations of human form. Join us in the future as we discover how long we can hold onto the fragments of our sanity before we accept the inevitable realisation that we are no more relevant to the cosmos than insects.

That's surely a fate worse than death.

Hey, if we weren't here to observe the cosmos it may as well not exist, or at the least collapse into a universe sized Schrödinger box, so that has to be something.
