Galnet tricked me again "Slave emancipation faltering",more like stop Galnet stupid

So this is the third time I traveled 100+ lyears away from my system thinking there would be something related to galnet news in there. All I found in Cemiess were 2 stations buying imperial slaves for 17000, wich is lower price then my usual destination where I sell them.Am I missing something am I stupid? or are these galnet events just LORE?

Did something similar, but no experience of slaves before so had no particular expectations.
.
I was expecting something on the bulletin board (specially at the station orbiting the principle world) but nothing. Disappointing!
