Sadly this is not true. In France bacon is either in the form of little bits or is like streaky (useful for Xmas). The true, proper and final form of bacon we know only exists in the UK and other allied countries like Denmark.

Luckily there are specialist guerilla farms and companies in France who offer real bacon and on occasion I order some 'special meat'.

It's ironic because apparently Bacon is a very old French word. So, not only you stole our food and word, but then make it better and shame us with it. Even worse, bacon is now pronounced the "English" way in France, and not the proper French way.

Now, now. I'm happy those guys exist, everytime I feel useless, I can think of them and it makes me feel better.

They are probably too busy trying to get us to say "courrier électronique" instead of "email" and "téléphone mobile intelligent" over "smartphone". I mean, those who survived after hearing the verb "google".

I should be careful what you write. While I can get away with it being a filthy anglais, I shudder to think what they'll do to you- the academy are they equivalent of Alliance PMF supporters and utterly fanatical.

Don't worry, I can run faster than a bunch of overweight old dudes. And if they get too close, I can yell "pain au chocolat ou chocolatine ?" and they'll stop dead in their track debating amongst themselves. I also know one or 2 arab words used for slang, should kill a few of them on the spot.
