Game authentication loop with Frontier Store account

Ayone else stuck with this?

I open ED and it asks me to link to a Frontier Store account. I have already done this, but nevermind - lets do it again. I give it my username and password. The sytem blithely sends me an email saying "Congratulations you've linked your Xbox account to the Frontier Store" and the game spits out "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again. If the problem persists contact Frontier Support". And sends me back to the account linking screen.

Over and over again.

All day.

Yes, very much so. There is an active Issue on the issue tracker. If any Xbox CMDR's are experiencing this to add too, please. Thanks.
 
The same thing is happening to me.

My son can get into his account, I cannot get into mine. Same results on Xbox and Xcloud.

This is incredibly frustrating. Last week I couldn't jump my carrier, now I can't load into the bloody game. I'm about at the point of uninstalling it and giving up entirely.

Odyssey is the worst thing to happen to the Elite universe. Ever. It is killing all of the good things in the game, including the very ability to play the game on Xbox. Whoever made the choice to release that rubbish should be ashamed of themselves.
 
Still broken.... several friends on Discord are reporting the same problem.

Anyone hear any word from FDev that they are even aware of the issue?
 
Same issue here, since the morning of May 25, 2021

Mine started working, but I did not realize that FDev had claimed a fix. Mine was still failing about 2 hours ago and I found what I believe was a network configuration problem in my home network. The reason I thought it was that is because my son's XBox was working when mine was having the Login Failure error message. Mine was still failing about 2 hours ago. We've just found the source of the problem, and it should now be fixed.

If you're currently unlinked, you'll be able to link again via your console. Otherwise, you should now just be able to log back in.

We have masses of tickets right now, so we're just taking longer to get to everyone. I'll be going through all of the contacts we've had for this in a bit, so you'll likely hear from me again saying... pretty much this!

If there are still problems for anyone, let me know!
