Game can't run on discrete graphics (laptop)

Specs:
i7 4700MQ
AMD Radeon R7 M265 / HD Graphics 4600
Win10 v1903
Task manager should show GPU 1 - 3D
Launch time is like 8-10 minutes and it shows error during "preparing planet generation system", but it starts anyway.
Performance is really bad.
I have latest graphics drivers for this device, drivers from AMD website crash the system during installation

Yeah I had sam problem with works laptop. I needed to turn down to the lower graphics settings.

Issue is the scanner showed player and NPCs as solid blobs.

I ended up using shadow gamer to play in they machine while working away.

Settings are already set to lowest values. I was playing it like 1,5 year ago and it wasn't that bad.

In windows 10, you can create profiles for specific applications/games.

You can try to follow that tutorial and set your graphic card for elite (use [your install directory]\EDLaunch\Products\elite-dangerous-64\EliteDangerous64.exe)
