Game crashed after the update

Can't pick more than one mission before screen locks up and forces me to reboot game. Base on the progress of fix's since the update; It's gonna be a long time before they fix it.

I have never had my game crash or freeze in the past as much as it does now since the Sept update. Very annoying, to say the least. Even with the newest driver from NVIDIA yesterday, my game has frozen several times.

I am also suffering from the mission board lock ups that require you to drop back to either the desktop or main menu, so yet another glitch to add to the long list since the recent update! I never thought I would say this but I think I will be giving this game a few months break at least and hope the many problems are sorted out later, and if not then sadly that will draw my personal involvement in Elite Dangerous gaming to an end.
Fingers crossed that will not be the case as I have had many many hours of enjoyment from it and hoped to get many more.

Here we are a day later, and nothing has changed. I just did four missions from Ceos to Sothis. I still had soft locks in the missions menus. Grrrr.
