Game Crashes after about 20 min

I've uploaded my specs per your report, I've updated my drivers

I keep getting a Lock buffer Error that suggests either my pc does not meet the min specs (highly unlikely since i am running at ultra settings) or that my video driver is out of date.... which i just updated.

Cryo

still crashes with this error.... not sure why ... getting frustrated to the point where i don't want to play anymore.

anyway there can be an option of turning off what ever you changed on the graphics side that is causing these crashes ?

It's better now after yesterdays patch .... but still crashing .... Still not fixed ... in the right direction but still not fixed.

welp no more playing in open while this is happening..... got pulled over and had a crash while coming out of the galaxy map to highwake out and crashed. Later got a friend request from bangfish letting me know it was"youtubed and reported" What ever.... i have nothing to hide but i guess i should remove my self from the equation and play in solo till this can be fixed .... (sigh)

I had a crash but I know my system has memory issues which need reseating/cleaned or replaced.
To me your problem is over heating. Be sure to run Fan Control program to keep it between 60-70degrees.
If I don't then all games do crash.

Sounds like a hardware issue to me.
not sure what ... my Gfx card is at manufacture specs .... and this problem started when 1.3 dropped... i play the game on ultra settings with out any FPS issues.

Tried lowering your settings?

It could be anything. Maybe your GPU is on it's way out, sometimes it just happens coincidentally on release of patches. For instance, my old 6870 died as soon as I started up Killing Floor 2. Was fine before that but poof, it just died. It happens. You should try stressing your HW by using FURMark or whatever else is there to stress test your machine. If the same issues occur you're looking at a hardware problem.

Right now you've given way too much of the wrong and needless information(Model numbers, etc.) for forums. All people really need is your GPU, CPU, Motherboard(Sometimes), RAM, PSU and OS. Nothing more detailed beyond "GTX 580" unless specifically asked. Also, it helps to ask in hardware specific forums where people who are tech savvy frequent.

For starters: What exactly happens when you crash? It's just after 20minutes all the time and says "Lock Buffer Error"? A quick google search came up with STEAM Support: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5034-EIPV-6426 Take heed to the warnings as it doesn't look like a casual fix. It seems like something you'd have to be very careful doing.

Still didn't fix it .... bought a 980 GTX off of amazon yesterday .... was only $500 so hopefully that will fix the problem. Maybe the old card is finally at it's end... I've had it 5 years ?

When i get the new card i'll take the old one apart .... I am guessing the thermal paste on the memory might be dried up and dead my CPU's paste was dried up and i had to fix that 3 months ago.
