Game crashes when trying to save a blueprint

Since some updates ago, I'm experiencing a problem that is really frustrating because for now most of the time that I spend on this game is creating some buildings for the zoos that I'm planning to build.

I would like to know if more people is experiencing the same issue and maybe somebody who experienced it in the past have a workaround ;). The problem is that every time that I try to save a blueprint, the game crashes. At the beginning I was trying to save a very big building, so I thought it was because of the high number of pieces, but later I tried with quite simple buildings and the game also crashes. For some buildings I managed to save it after some attempts but today, for a simple building I tried almost 10 times and all times the game crashed. I also tried saving a blueprint on a different savegame and it also crashed.

I know that the correct way is to report this issue on the issue tracker, and I did it, but to be honest I think that it will get expired as the last issue that I reported (it was a different topic) and the other two issues about the same problem that I found on the tracker (one from November and other from January). So, that's why I also decided to talk about it here ;)

This happens to me, too. I found that if I save the game immediately before saving a blueprint, the game rarely ever crashes again (and of course, you don’t lose any game progress). I always get the notification that the crash was caused by the graphic card. I also crash if I switch too quickly between saved games via the main PZ screen. If I wait a bit, this generally does not happen.

Maybe there are some graphic processes still running at those times that cause the crash.

The workaround given by Paul worked! I just lowered the settings to "High" and it worked (I had custom settings, probably something between High and Ultra). Later I increased some parameters and for now it is working. For now I don't know which parameter is the one that is making the game crash.
