Ever since the last update this game crashes several times a day and it’s really starting to suck!!!!

Sorry your having issues cmdr. Usually it's a server problem.
However yesterday I was plagued by a few (3) loss of connectivity screens. Since I've been having issues with the cable providers internet svc, I can safely assume that's the issue.
However your problem "sounds" like an issue with the Amazon servers. I've had the same problem in the past. I think it was an Amazon server issue anyway. Maybe not. But it seemed like it would crash 5+ x a day.
But here's how I THINK I solved the problem. You may want to give it a try, it can't hurt.
Try defraging your PS4 (if you know how).
