In my old age, after the update, I was sure this was Frontier saying, "Well now we don't support VR period!" Sent crash reports, waited. Tried several days later, sent crash reports, waited. Finally noted Sarah's post while checking development forum and yep, running flat screen and changing the shadow settings allowed me to run VR again. Quite relieved that it was such a minor thing and not a "strategic management decision" I was dealing with. Whoever found out about the work around, hats off to you.
