Kinectimals Game Freezing

I just got this game for my 7 yr old son. It froze everytime we went through the initial screen and got to fur town right before the "bonding." We never got to pick an animial and it just continues to freeze. I've turned it off / on multiple times, made sure the disc was clean and still nothing. I returned the game thinking it was defective. I put the new game in and it froze again in the exact same spot. I've been a gamer for 20 yrs and never ran into this. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it might more of a issue with your Kinect or XBOX hardware. Do any other games Kinect or regular Xbox give any issue whatsoever?

We have played about 15 hours so far on this game with no issues whatsoever.

I too have enjoyed games since Space Invaders reigned supreme on the Atari 2600

It's also possible that the disk itself is defective, are you able to try it in a different XBox?

Can you try signing out of your profile before starting the game, does the same problem occur?

The other thing to try is to create a new profile and the start the game, does the same issue occur?

If you create a new profile, does the same problem occur?

Have you tried clearing your cache?

Is the Xbox you are using a new one that came with the Kinect camera? Or an older model with Kinect purchased seperately?

Do you know if the game applied a title update when you started it?
