Game froze and now cannot access my ship!

I landed at a settlement and disembarked the ship.
Then the game froze.

I left it for over 5 minutes but still blank screen so I ended the task and restarted the game.
I am inside the facility but have "no access to ship".

Now what?

In the main menu try to use the Unstuck option. Should put you on the orbit in the ship.

1) Call for a taxi to take you to a station.

2) Call for your ship to come land (it is in "orbit"). I don't recall if you can actually do that if it has left a settlement, you might need to run some distance from the settlement.

3) From the launcher use the "Stuck recovery" option, which will put you back in your ship in space.

Exit to main menu or kill the process and restart the game. Then in the main menu go to help and support and select the stuck recovery. Then load into the game in the mode of choice.
