Thanks mate, well I only disabled junk like adobe,itunes etc.. simply stopped them from auto starting on bootup, that was done a long time ago.
Am wondering if it's to do with MSI Afterburner, I manually overclocked the 980TI, has been running well for the past seven months, perhaps the new nvidia drivers or 1.3 doesn't like it. Still doesn't explain why the issue only happens after multiple hyperspace jumps. Or perhaps I did something to the graphics xml file when reverting the hud colours.... Clutching at straws too
Oh well, for now I'll stick to Canyon runs until I isolate the issue.
