I am a big fan of this game and I like all the new dinosaurs you keep bringing to the game on DLC - however the nature of the game is to build a Dinosaur Theme Park but apart from apparent buildings that provide a service, there isn't much in the way of decorative or aesthetics that can really give the feel of a proper park.
For example, say you wanted to segment certain areas say have a waterpark region, or a big dino enclave region... you don't have anything that really gives a feel that this region is marginally different to that region. I am not talking variance in fences but small decorative things of changes to aesthetics like.
Inside the Dino-Pen
The Dino Pen is only that of necessity to keep the Dino happy, which is great from a statistical point of view if your playing for a stats basis. But Other than providing shade, water, food there isn't much else. From a artistic perspective it is very...well sterile. So why not add a few items like...
1. Rocks, Boulders - This would give their Pen a bit more of a 3d Dimension...
2. Floor Texture - Like Sand or Earthy Brown Dirt
Outside of the pens and the rest of the park
Again the area is functional and very sterile, we could use something to give a bit of excitement - Imagine if you will you was just arrive from the train into the park. you walk down the stairs - where do you go... No signs, no segmented regions - everything looks the same. You can be quite creative with the tools you have and certain placements but this is running a bit dry now. We need stuff like...
1. Sign Posts
2. Entrance doors - and when I mean this I mean doors or arches you can put with a pathway going through it. but also connects either side to walls and fences.
3. Concession stands.
4. Office buildings and more Science buildings - you kind of want to make it look like Igen has a real business structure here. and you can kind of do that with some of the buildings but still.
and finally
5. Rides - this is a wildlife theme park, the only ride is a Gyrosphere... give us the River-raft - give us the car on tracks ride... maybe the odd rollercoaster and water park ride.
