Game lacks Anisotropic Filtering?

Noticing very strongly that textures get VERY blurry when they are viewed from an angle. Also noticed there's no anisotropic filtering in settings. Has this been discussed? Is there a work around?
 
It also works via radeon control panel at 16x, and with anisotropic-quality @ performance with a gain in fps, but without any visible loss in quality.

Seems to work through the nvidia control panel.

Edit - Though it was one of your posts that showed me how to set it up back in the DK2 days. Welcome back btw! Have missed your videos and live streams.
