I don't know what to do. My game is lagging so badly that I cannot play. I have tried un/re installing Steam. No help. I've ended all non-esential processes running in the background to free up RAM. When I land at the Jameson Crash Site, if I log out trying to farm the Data Points, when I try to log back in I get the error code "Orange Sidewinder" and have to log back in basic, get kicked back into orbit, log out log back in with Commander and go from there. I need help. Anyone?

That is not lag. Orange Sidewinder is happening to lots of people because of too many fleet carriers in the locale. However if you can log in base game them maybe you are having issues with the actual spawn location your SRV was in. Does it happen in Solo? Have you tried it in a PG (create your own if you need one)? Is it only in Open Play that this is happening?
Orange Sidewinder is where the instancing server cannot create an instance for you, not a matter of lag / ping / whatever.
You are correct. I was in solo AND my SRV was in a tight spot. If I can get back in I'll try a PG, I am still very new (6 months) and Open play scares me. Thank you for your reply.
