Fatigue errors. All those people at Frontier are probably minus *weeks* on sleep. Too busy coding the game for release to write, and proof, the manual.
It takes an outside editor, to properly proof these sorts of things. Unfortunately, we get to be the proofreaders. They'll fix it, in due time, of course.
The TO (technical order) 1-F-4D-1-1 (basic pilots manual) was waaay more detailed than the TO 1-F-16A-1-1, because in two decades, just about everything that could go wrong with the airplane, *had* gone wrong with the airplane. Trust me, airplanes in real life never leave Beta testing as well.
Modern, fly-by-wire aircraft scare me. Again, I'm an old dog who has seen too much.
