Game not letting me log in

I'm on Steam, have over 1200 hours. Tried to log in just now and a prompt ive never seen before pops up asking for a login and password. Then makes me get an authentication code because I'm "logging in on a different computer"...I'm definitely not. At that point it says I need to purchase the game. I did. Years ago. On xbox and on Steam, with horizons on both.

I have the same problem, it asks me to login, sends me a verification code via e-mail and when I enter that code, it sends me back to the login page. Looks like something is broken between Steam and Frontier.

It seems to be a widespread issue. I suspect their authentication server is down because of the log entries in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\logs:

"action" : "AuthenticationRejected"

I'm having the same problem, but I didn't buy it through epic. I don't go near that junk. I got it through Steam.

Good to know, so it may only be a problem with the Steam-linked accounts.
