This is indeed sad news. I'll always remember him for the mad, desperate fight he put up, just before he was dragged off through the floor by the bugs.[sad]

A very good actor. I will always remember in Apollo XIII his formula : "I could swallow the ... of a rhinoceros" :p --- RIP Bill, you left too early :(

Even before I saw Aliens, I remember him from Apollo 13 and Twister, two of my favorite movies when I was a kid. I hope they name a station or Mega Ship in his honor.

I always thought one of his best roles was the car salesman in True Lies. He was awesome in that movie!

This one hits me harder than usual with regard to celebrity deaths, the guy was talented and funny, he seemed like such a nice guy as well. Aliens, twister etc all great work, but for me i will allways picture him in true lies, brilliant guy. Bill Paxton, he will be remembered.

He was still kicking at the end of Aliens too...... Well, apart from having no legs. But then, he was never alive in that film anyway.
