I was optimistic after hearing the multiple things that were "fixed" in the new 1.8.2 update. They were NOT fixed. The game crashed immediately after I placed an underwater dome. I restarted the game from the autosave from before the dome and now the game is back to crashing when I exit to the main menu. The first game may not have the new cool features or dinos...but at least it doesn't crash on me. I updated pretty much everything that's able to be updated, and the game is worse than it was before.

Don't know if it will work for you, but for me, it seems to work fine as long as I start a new park and DO NOT put a lagoon in it. I've played for hours and it hasn't crashed yet. The lagoons are broken...at least on the PS4...
I played a few more hours and without any lagoons, the game seems to be working fine. I was hesitant, but I put in an ampitheater, and the game doesn't seem to have a problem with that. Just wish the area was a bit bigger.

CAn you confirm the lagoons are broken as I'm trying to do a park (all Dinosaurs) for cohabitation but I get too a point and game crashes with codes CE34878-0
that's exactly what happens to me. I put a lagoon, but as soon as I try to do anything to it, it crashes. I try it again, get to the point that I can add some dinos....the game crashes. Try again and add some dinos, then try to connect the lagoon to a path....game crashes.
All with that same error code.

Xbox players suffer the same problem, but I wouldn't expect a solution
We already had the problem of the console crashing and shutting down, which took a long time to resolve, and now we have the problem of the game crashing and shutting down
