Game too easy what I do to keep it challenging

6 rule to keep the game challenging and not immediately winning season 2 with Williams

1) develop as much as you can, use intense as you please all engineers and all hours of wind tunnel but keep all pieces always “balanced.” (never touch the sliders)

2) run practice and qualification all in automatic (it's stupid to have always 100% set up all the time in all the tracks), and since you will save time, all races only 1x speed (enjoy the race!) - To add some fun you have 1 shot at fixing the setup after the 3 practice you will get 60-70% you can 1 time only before qualification try to play with the slide no feedback just do as you think may improve it and then run the 3 qualy all together in auto if you are lucky you will get a good setup if not will be more or less the same as other cars is more realistic! (and please please please don't use the site to cheat 100% setup you are just ruining your own game!)

3) use rookie pilots (obviously, keep a fancy pilot if it is too expensive to fire him but let his contract expire and replace him with a rookie)

4) no restriction in building

5) no extra advertisement allowed (it's not much money but is the only income we can really cut easily)

6) only rushed/emergency parts even if you have time (we need money sink to force us to make choice due to lack of money for instance less development or not intense or not upgrade a building right now we have too much money and we can do too much too quickly)

Don't you have something else to propose ( automatic ) , this is like sucking the fun out of the game... But yes, you have pinpoint the fundamentally broken parts of the game.

This is not a simulation, this is a mini games with blue sliders....

The game is so broken, i even start my race without the minimum fuel amount now...
57 laps, 56.2 fuel load..
Now, of course, if drag and race condition are good, my delta will be positive...

I don't know about gasoline; I feel it does not add any challenge and it is slightly pointless. Race is what it is; I think the only real thing to make it cool is to force 1X speed.

Well, this is what we can do the rest is in the devs hands.

Well, sorry mate, but if gazoline is pointless... you're in the wrong game. When your delta is negative with 7Kg -1.3 and 9 turns, well, that's a challenge...
No gasoline, no push, no overtake, no race....no F1... that kind maybe:

is pointless because is the same for everybody all you need to do is manage it more or less and is not rocket science. putting less gasoline doesn't seem like something very useful or interesting race is good when everybody has a similar base and gasoline should be kept equal for everybody is the parts that you can do too op that ruin the balance not gasoline

too easy lol, i still try get my first points in williams
that's actually a good thing as it will be fun for you to get better but really is quite easy to win with William season 2 if you know what really important to develop/research and how to do it exploiting intense multiplier.
In my opinion, keep doing what you are doing and try to find your own way to success much better than read about the "op" stuff and get the easy way out this is why a lot of people complain they cheat and than win easily and say it's no fun.

I am playing following this rule halfway through the first season; if you know how to plan the dev/research parts, it looks like you still get ahead a bit easy, but at least the lack of extra money forced me to make a few decisions and couldn't upgrade much the buildings at all.
I am enjoying this slightly more challenging session. Money could be easily fixed and should, but what is most important is the AI needs to research/dev better or tone down our research/dev per se. I can't say R&D is OP; all is always related to how much the AI does if the AI would do more, maybe how it is now is okey.

True to be told, it is all thanks to Botta that I couldn't fire (too expensive to break the contract). My other two rookies, Piastri and Pourchaire (reserve), didn't do nearly as good Piastri is 7th in the pilot only thanks to a wet race where he arrived 2nd because of luck. Botta is 4th in the pilot before Perez! Overall, Alfa-Romeo has double the point of Mercedes and i3rdth (goal is to get 5th)

Bottas is OP, and I would like to have the option the first day to fire whoever I want for free (I know I talk about money sink, but Botta's price to break the contract is insane). Maybeaccessiblee only for pilots, not engineers. It's true that some players would that buy all fancy pilots right away since there is no penalty for breaking the contract but as solution make pilot request double the salary they usually would on day one when there is no contract breaking penalty so nobody could afford super fancy pilot at double the cost only rookie could be place on car at day 1 with the no penalty rule.

Well, the key point here is that the game is too easy at the moment, I want to win and feel like if I am smart indeed, but this is TOO easy at the moment... Winning with Alpine on 2nd season (815 pts) against Ferrari (483 pts)...

It would make more sense to have an easy setting , normal setting and hard level for each gameplay , where the hard gives you less money and makes everything more expensive and take longer to develop and also the ai teams develop quicker
