Game Trackir Enhancement Request

I'm absolutely hooked on the game. Happily bought and worked my way through its previous incarnations over the last couple of decades.

Now to business! I purchased a Saitek x52 Pro (seemed to be the HOTAS of choice for many, and that many people cant all be wrong) Found some unsigned drivers, but MadKatz Support claim they're on the ball!

Now considering purchase of a Trackir 5 Bundle, but not too sure at present. I would love to use the Trackir 5 for nothing more than looking about the cockpit, but Frontier apparently insist that side panels are activated by looking left or right. Why? Seems to me that you are limiting my options of game immersion by NOT offering me the choice to "look only" being quite happy with my HOTAS to select UI mode and have a squint at the appropriate panel.

So, please, consider making that an OPTION when utilising Trackir, ie Look Only OR Look AND activate panels.

Agreed, it wouldn't be hard to add the option to disable popups. In the mean time - the following is a good workaround for me.. (Using Virtual reality and Voice attack commands)

Disable HUD (clear view for sightseeing)
Open comms panel (disables popups)
If I am observing something out of the left side of the ship, I'll activate a command to enable the right side panel, that way my view out of the left is clear.. vice versa..

If you are looking for immersion, forget trackIR, I used it for 6 years and it was great, but it's just nowhere near the same league as Virtual reality.
