Been playing Elite for years. Played Elite this morning. Now when I try to play I hit the play button, the button turns gray for a few seconds and then back to brown like I never pushed it. I tried to validate the files but it gives me a manifest checksum error. I update my video drivers. Did not work. I turned off automatic proxy setup in Windows. Still won't load. Any ideas?

Newcomer / Intro Game won't load when I hit the play button

Is server down for others or just me (May 2nd 2025)
Launcher opens and says server is all good, but social is greyed out and cant log into open or solo. Just me, i submitted a ticket but been away a while so not sure if this is sever maintenance or a glitch.
