For anyone else who has this problem as I did and whose internet searches originally did not provide any results.
RESOLVED:
After several internet searches on this issue I found one Reddit and one Steam post about people using a rooted tablet for GG to work, my original tablet has Android 11 running on it, but I had an old rooted tablet running Android 7.1.1. I installed GG on that tablet and when I launched GG I saw something that did not show on the newer Android OS.
I had two options under "Collections" Odyssey, which was the only option visible under Android 11, then Odyssey and ED on the Android 7.1.1 tablet. I choose Odyssey first with no luck, then backed out and chose ED and GG worked perfectly.
Another mistake I made was I had my tablet on a different Wi-Fi- network (I have several) then my computer, so make sure you don't make a "Durp" like I did.
The attached image shows the "Collections" screen in question above.
NOTE: After posting this my desktop GG install stated it needed to update, after updating the tablet no longer worked. I reinstalled GG on my desktop and the tablet worked again. I will no longer update the desktop app, you do as you wish.
