Gameplay approaching tenuous atmospheric planets

What do you guys think about the new planets approach/ landing gameplay?
Do you expect some new gameplay or the same sequence that we already have?
 
Might get some sparse flame animations in the loading screen if we're lucky :) but I doubt they'll change the flight dynamics as they hadn't in their first discussion about Odyssey (something along the lines of 'We're still considering it.' - five months from release).
 
I don't see what would need to be changed really... except for some re-entry effects.

I'd like it to be completely seamless like in Infinity Battlescape (fully seamless space to ground) or even better like in Evechron Legacy (fully seamless but player must control angle of descent to avoid heat buildup). But if it remains exactly as it is now I'm fine with it. I just don't want minigames like "follow the tunnel" or similar.

I just saw the Karate Kid, and concluded this would be a good gibberish Miyagi statement to confuse people.
Me & Mrs just watched it too!
KK2 is on boxing day which, according to mrs, is better - based solely on the fact the soundtrack drew her to the cinema BITD.
Hopefully that is tenuous enough for this thread.

And I agree, there is a good degree of tenuousness going on here now ;)
