Basically I have a good idea to improve game play.
I am primarily interested in bounty hunting and trading. Since Horizons however, the opportunities for bounty hunting has become very rare.
What I propose is a sort of 'tiered' system for bounty hunting. In practice, when you first visit a new system, on the bulletin board will only
be low grade missions for bounty hunting. E.G. 10,000 cr to kill 5 pirates (which would be small craft like side winders or eagles with harmless status).
On successful completion of this mission, a revisit to the station will enable a more difficult missions with a higher reward. E.G. 20,000 cr
for 10 kills with mostly harmless status. With every successful mission comes bigger missions with increased difficulty. Until they get almost impossible. E.G. taking out an Anaconda (elite status) with FDS or similar as escorts but with rewards of say 10,000,000 cr.
With each first visit to a system the process starts again.
A similar process could be used for trading. i.e. Starting out with low quantity, 1 system or same system jumps, then increasing with
higher quantity, further distance, bigger reward but with increased level of interdiction and quality of the interdictor as the trading progresses.
Once again, you start from scratch when you visit a new system for the first time. This will also have a side affect of encouraging further
exploration as the missions progress and get too difficult to sustain in the current system.
