[GAMEPLAY] Salvage = build ship not buy it

This is me again, now with a not so original suggestion for ed gameplay..

It's salvage..

Why?
Coz cmdrs love to combat, wants a big ship but earn so little without trading..

How?
Every time you kill a conda, theres a RNG percentage of chance it drops a scoopable conda parts that you can scoop..

Killing and salvage a LOT (300-400) ancondas will give you enough parts to build a conda..

Build a ship is not free.. you must pay a certain price.. and that price is cheaper when you have enough parts, but only to a minimum value..

So, anaconda = 10kk cr + parts

The anaconda you get is not 100% brand new.. it's 70% broken..

WTH?

Yep it's a grind.. lol..
1. Find a conda ( you need 800 for bad RNG drops)
2. Kill a conda ( kill it, dont die)
3. Save your money for min payment and insurance..

Can I use the parts for other ship?

Yep, the parts you salvage are actually modules parts.. you may get a large cannon or class 5 fsd parts for example..

It is a grind anyway..

What if I stuck on last piece for a module?

Grind it, or exchange/buy it from some fellow cmdr using wings cargo drop/scoop

Where do I store those parts?

You store it in a station shipyard.. and once you store it you cant take it back to your cargo...

That station shipyard will keep your progress..

WTH?

Well, you can discard those parts and get small cr in return... Or build the ship with what you got and pay the rest of incompleted parts...

That's all for now.. tell me what you think..

+1 good suggestion, cause it adds basic crafting with new gameplay opportunities.

Salvage material from shipwrecks > store it at a station (shipyard) > with sufficient material craft a ship at much lower cost than buying a new ship.

Shipwrecks should stay in space for a couple of hours. Players could use a Salvage Scanner to find shipwrecks.

Yep, even better with that salvage scanner suggestion!!!!

Coz some people gonna left behind some shipwrecks they dont want to scoop..

I wrote something like op suggested somewhere on suggestion forum one month or less ago . Only thing I said different is salvage parts to discover something you can use or to sell it , recycle it to minerals/metals and sell so you can grind money by killing / trading salvaged/recycled mats. However and whatever developers do on my suggested way or op way I give +1, both ways will do something good for all bounty hunters and pirates.

not bad idea, it's one of things missing to spice up some interaction and rewards ... {what I may find in that wreckage!?}
