Description
Gameplay Test Report ( 2018-04-07 )

UI:

- there's should be a link / button from staff subjects menu table to staff managing menu.

- consider letting the users to move menu tables around, or even transform them.

- "park management" menu table should not be scrollable horizontally (!!!). this bug is annoying as hell..

placing props:

- We're having difficulties placing objects, since axis and rotation constantly does not align to anything and does not use last setting. we have to continuously press "world axis" (wich rarely solves the issue). saving last position orientation might fix the problem.

- objects like benches use snapping, but when they snap to bins or other it becomes red and u can't place it. clipping needs to be fixed. in fact, all objects should have snapping on/off option.

- We need height grid or indications / numerology. for everything - terrain, placing shops, paths or coasters and their parts.

- when building paths we should be able to select "square edges" before we start placing it or turning grid on. the option turns off every time u delete one piece. it gets frustrating.

- when multiple objects selected for moving, in many cases the axis tool starts working on an invisible height grid which does not actually align with the surface! kinda serious bug.

camera:

- we need a static camera option when building paths and coasters. currently the 'panning' and moving cam is often an frustration for placing objects and removing objects. I get the idea of making easier to build a line of paths, but I'd suggest to introduce a 'click - hold - and drag' option instead. it's way more convenient and easier to master. same goes for deleting linear objects. many building games including RTC2 back in 2002 had a really smart option for building and removing things. u don't even have to invent here anything. please consider the improvement.

- when we select a guest or a staff member we want a "center camera" button to track the subject down and track it's movement. not just to travel to the visited places from its past.

selection tool

- we need selection tool to have choices (check marks) of the content you want to select / move / and or delete: 1 - paths; 2 - flora; 3 - porps; 4 - buildings like shops and rides.

- current selection tool does not select some of the object groups. as for ex.: if you try to select a bench, a bin, and a lamp post for duplication or replacement. same goes for other random flora and prop combination. you should investigate it.

library:

- "buiding" and "scenerry" sections should be merged and use the same search. there's no ligix in typing same key words looking for similar parts through these sections.

- search field should be unified and keep the same typed text in search field through all sections to actually help browsing through hundreds of items with same or similar id.

- library sections should contain the same "More Filters" options and keep the settings saved.

- all blueprints sections should be merged under one button and categorized by type in blocks or have inner menu. for now it's really very confusing and hard to navigate, search for things.

- in most scenarios - you can't get or see a certain shop, but you might find it in the blueprint section with scenery elements. then you need one, you have to build the blueprint and delete the props? why it's not in the "shops and Facilities" main categories without props then?

..as a game designer myself, I'd say these are crusial things to solve. I'm not even going into the details here. especially if you're planning to grow your community and sell even more DLCs in the future. because many players will be turned off after a short period of time, realizing how prolonged, tedious and complicated your custom building process is.

this game could become iconic for at least a decade, and not just for adults but for most teenagers and kids. if problems below solved.

building a park should be easy, we want to focus on our creativity and managing and not on absurdly complicated building.

best,
p.
