Games radar 4/5

I think that is a really fair review, IGN for example is just heavily influenced by big game publishers like Activision and EA games, I find 4,8/10 way on the low side, I think that 8/10 is a fair rating for how the game is at its current state.

EA guy was clearly not a management game fan.

For me this game looks a 7/10.

Lack of customization seems to let it down.

Sounds decent, but the con points make no sense to me.

Tutorial? honestly No need for that. Not in this game anyway, planet coaster perhaps.
Power system envuriating? Yeah probaly but you want to manage a park with risks, that's a risk right htere. And there's ways to improve power management in general so kinda useless as a con.

I think the cons should've been; no mod support yet. Sandbox isn't proper yet, and the lack of information about fly/aquatic creatures.

Beats IGN's corrupted review

Yes lack of customization and depths here and there, plus I don't like the sandbox mode. It should be separated from the campaign and they should make a choice to choose between creative sandbox (with unlimited money + all dinosaurs) and normal sandbox (with a budget and having to unlock all the dinosaurs). There are issues that should be pretty obvious for the developer as well. Unfortunately some things the devs don't have control over because of Universal wanting it to be "authentic and original".

I agree, I would give it a seven out of a ten since there are issues. I like the sandbox, the dinosaurs and some of the other features of this game.
But I dislike the apparent lack of variety in animations, clipping, some other bugs and the fact that we still apparently have a Deinonychus with
a crest. I can tolerate a small sail on it's tail but not a crest on it's head since that is so strange. Although I would like the sail to removed. I hope
they make a option to remove the crest. I also want them to make options for disabling pronating dinosaurs and another one to disable shrink
wrapping. But since I haven't actually played the game, some of my criticisms might be invalid.

I feel like a 7/10 is a strong start to a game that is guaranteed to be enhanced through patches and DLCs. I can't help but jump in now, but I think that 6 months from now, it would be worthy of updated reviews.

Not really a management game fan myself either, to be honest, unless we're talking Age of Empires empire building or something. I'm just here for the dino sim like elements and free-range ecosystem experimentation on the sandbox island. I'm hoping for a lot more from this game in that regard.

That being said, doing some of the scenarios might be a nice enough tangent.
