games to play with my four year old daughter?

HI,

Can anyone recommend any fun games that I could play with my four year old daughter on the PC?, its mainly about getting her to grips with the mouse and keyboard a bit more, puzzle solving etc.

She enjoyed messing around in Starbound, but its a bit complicated for her.

Nothing too scary! :p

My four-year old keeps trying to 'park' my ships. So if you see my Cobra pinging off the roof of the station, it's just my personal valet service - honest. ;)

She really likes the SIMs - though it's obviously quite complicated for her and requires grown up help.

As for the OP's question, consider the classic game Worms as it can be hilarious at times too. :) Just as an aside, I changed all the sound samples in my old Amiga version to stuff from Father Ted for a laugh *sighs*

my 5yr old grandaughter has been flying around and insists i call her captain. She even gets her nose in on my Combat Mission battles.

My son and daughter (4y and 6y) especially love driving in Project CARS.
Using a G27, I do pedals work while they sit on my knees and drive the wheel, they are doing pretty well actually :)

Lol, they should team up - though sounds like she might give my little one ideas!

Young kids are brilliant arent they Calico Jack? They always make you laugh and feel much better just when the world is getting you down.

I have some pictures of her flying my(sorry her)sidewinder and asking me to engage hyperdrive and i have to respond with ''yes Captain''. It is her version of voice commands.

minecraft! It's great for parents and their kids to bond with, and the creativity it unleashes in young kids is stagering. If you involve yourself in the "why" and "what" and care less about the "how" you'll get some awesome stories out of your youngin's mind.

The Lego games are brilliant for kids, and you can play co-op with them so they don't get stuck and frustrated.

yes she does like Batman, Spiderman and Superman so I may try one of those.

Her mother wont be impressed if it involves much violence, although being lego I cant imagine it will be that bloodthirsty.

Minecraft gets my vote, too. It's been really fun to build castles etc. and explore. We've had monsters on only when I've been controlling, but now as my kids are playing themselves (4 & 7 years) it's on peaceful.

Well, you have Lego people falling apart, but everyone knows you can put them together again. ;)

My daughter's been playing a lot of LEGO games with me and they are her favourites (the only reason we have controllers for the PC, actually). But she also likes to sit on my lap and just watch me play GTA IV (not the missions, but just driving around and finding all the jump spots etc.) and Far Cry 3 (same thing, just exploring the nature and looking for animals) etc. etc.

My little girl was surprisingly taken with Kerbal Space Program, so much so she turned our dining room into a three-seat command module, and spent the rest of the day walking like she was on the moon.

I glossed over the fact that several of our astronauts met a fiery death, and one became stuck in perpetual orbit.
