Gamesharing Horizons Season Pass

Does anyone have any problem with gamesharing the season pass for elite? My friend gameshared with the elite dangerous with the season pass, had no issues for 1 month until today when suddenly the game said I didn't own the season pass even tho I could play the game which is from my friends account.
