X-Wing me here, and X-Wing me there. I played "Tie Fighter" much more!

Apart from that, nice of them to notice all of this. Let the wave of excitement wash on the shores of public opinion, so the already excited can take a chill pill. Frog-knows I could use one. :D

LMAO! I have to agree there. First space game I played was space invaders in the arcades! ;)

Yeah, back in the 90's I played Tie Fighter more than X-Wing, it just seemed more polished with it coming after X-Wing.

Maybe it was all a dream. Strange though, I have a boxed version of something called "Elite" for the C-64. Whatever that is. ;)

Yeah and it was also "very dark" in 1984 when the concept was introduced in the original Elite! :p

Oh, instant heart ache when I seen X-Wing. I really wish someone would do to those games what they've done with FFE3D-AJ. I've been playing that the last week now, with breaks of ED in between :D

Why no real love for X-Wing, guys? Did you not play it when it came out? I played the crap out of it + all the expansions, and then had a field day when TIE Fighter came out.
