The reviewer cites sloppy controls and camera glitches, which doesn't make any sense. The only problem I had with the controls was trying to get a rock on a switch, but that was only because I didn't realize I could use the slipstream on it. As for the camera, the only thing I can think of is he somehow didn't know you can zoom out. He then goes on to bash the setting of the caves, calling them ugly and dreary. Would he criticize Zelda's dungeons for being dark and not flowing with sunshine and happiness? Doubtful. Taken from his review: "For instance, horizontal commands are sometimes reversed. Even if you clearly move the Wii Remote from the left side of the screen to the right, the wind will sometimes blow in the opposite direction.". Ok, that's just plain not true. I've heard that that reviewer has a fairly established anti-Nintendo past on the NeoGAF forums. Gamespot is a major game site. I'd think they'd be a bit more professional with the way they operate. Then again, after that whole Kane and Lynch fiasco, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.
I made this topic because that review is just plain ridiculous. And I absolutely love this game and felt the need to defend it a little. <_<; This game has quickly became one of my favorite games in some years and I've already played through it several times, something I almost never do with games. Congratulations Frontier, you've created a wonderful experience.
