Hardware & Technical Gaming Chair Setups

Looking for some Check this out. http://www.volairsim.com/Photos.php Not a bad price and there are a lot of nice ones out there like that. Link any you know of here!

But I've been thinking of finding a cheap alternative. I already have the 3 monitors. I'm thinking of building some sort of cheap wooden setup that is sturdy but comfortable.

I used to use an old Adirondack / Muskoka seat for my simming back in the old days.

Just strap throttle and stick with some velcro and it worked like a charm for me. I would prefer to be higher off the ground though.

Then I found this really cheap alternative you can do using simply pvc pipe.

Here is another self made setup that isn't too expensive.

Those are excellent ideas. Now why did you wait until the end of the Bank Holiday to get me inspired! I could have spent this weekend doing something, literally, constructive instead of aimlessly wandering through these forums...

Now THIS is more like my ball park.... Something I can sink my teeth into....

However..... it will probably turn into the equivalent of this...:

Do you live with your Grandmother....?

That furniture looks like it could be worth a bob or two.... and the rug..... Ohhhhhh.......... Hold me back someone....

Funny you should say that, I'm thinking my Sidewinder could do with some nice floral curtains..

Nice chair how did you make it ?

Looks like a car seat and you made the frame ?

I need to make one of those any plans ?

Thanks

VW

the inner seat is from a Mercedes back seat.
the frame is a rebuild old leather seat that was all cracked up.
I redone that with fake leather and new padding and added the joystick supports.
the legs where chrome but rusted.
I still want to make a keyboard support that can also support a Ferrari steering wheel.
