Hardware & Technical Gaming Chair Setups

I like that PVC idea. The only thing to do is install a beer holder on the side.

However, I priced it to be around $140 for all the pieces to build something like that.

the inner seat is from a Mercedes back seat.
the frame is a rebuild old leather seat that was all cracked up.
I redone that with fake leather and new padding and added the joystick supports.
the legs where chrome but rusted.
I still want to make a keyboard support that can also support a Ferrari steering wheel.

That's a beautiful job. Looks like something you'd purchase for gaming. I like how you even have holes for the HOTAS cords to keep it all neat. Did you have to rewire to add an extension, or does the Saitek come with enough cord to do that? Been looking at my Thrustmaster and contemplating if I want to disassemble and built some length into it for an eventual project like this.

the Saitek cables are long enough.
the seat works out great , I can easily fly for hours without getting tired.

I really hate the cable between the throttle and stick on the T.Flight Hotas. Found and cut down an old shelf and replaced the old unused keyboard tray on my desk with it, giving me space to spread out the hotas and room for my mouse on the side. Keyboard is easily accessed, though I don't need it much. Biggest benefit was being able to keep my monitor up close to my face.

If I ever come into some money and spring for an X52, I'll probably rig up something much nicer.
