has your refresh rate defaulted back to 60? if so you need to stick it to 72 or 75 to re-enable low persistence mode.
I get no ghosting @75, minimal @ 72 and a fair amount @60.

Oh, will check it tonight!
But still - colors shouldn't change right? Especially during supercruise the whole spcae is like mixed stars and black "stains" moving a bit. Hard to explain...
For me it works in Direct, but it gets put at 60fps, so get a lot of stutters.
Extended works perfectly. The text seems a tiny bit less readable though, wonder what's up with that.
Thanks for the tip - haven't tried DSR yet.I really dont like Dirct mode cause you cant downsample or use Nvidia DSR with it. I run a gtx780ti oc , and i can now DSR from 2800x1504 since gamma(before i had to run from 2300x1.... and shadows off) , its a big improvement... textures high , shadows medium , blur off , Ambient off, AA off rest on high and runs so smooth GREAT JOB FD keep it UP
P.S guys if you can downsample or use Nvidia DSR try it it makes it look so so so much better .....
yeah obviously my performance dropped back a bit.... but its not too bad and certainly up from any of the betas for me.
currently trying medium detail at 72hz (extended as still on 4.2 drivers)
and it seems to run pretty damn well even in stations etc. I will need more time to be certain I can keep at this level, but this is on a(n overclocked) GTX670 which is below the rift minimum specs.
by the time this comes out, hopefully a 980 will happily run this at full bubble 75hz, maybe even with some supersampling.
I fixed refresh to 75Hz but I think I still have those "dark stains" and still a little bit of ghosting...
Working very well in direct mode now. Still have the issue where the spinning ship doesn't render in the right eye for a bit when loading. I can live with that.
