"Gamma Doradus System" problem

Hello pirates,

when I recently flew through "Gamma Doradus System" (yes, it has system in its name) i almost burned to a crisp. It all happened very fast. When i jumped in i flew through a star for merely a second what really surprised me. When I realised what happened I found myself directly between two class K stars (atleast I think they are class K, i didn't check). Of course I paniced and quickly selected another system to jump to because my original target was blocked by the star and the heat was rising quickly but I managed to escape with alot of module damage. When I revisited the same happened.
So do the stars actually rotate around each other and i just had bad timing or are their positions and where i come out fix? Also can someone try to jump in there and tell me if the same happened?
I think the possibility of jumping between should be removed because I barely had any time to do something.
And sorry if this thread is in the wrong forum.

Happy Hunting

this is an interesting outcome. 2.2 is supposed to prevent jumping in through stars. it is also supposed to bring the player out in a location relatively in line with their previous system. It sounds like you have revealed an issue with rule precedence where the attempt to keep you in line is overriding the attempt to prevent you from jumping through a star.

And yes, the stars do orbit each other. That doesn't mean they do so quickly though, so they might appear stationary over too (relatively) short a period.
