Not sure how everyone started off but I started of with a Sidewinder though I see I have a Eagle somewhere, but I chose to try the sidewinder and take the challenge of having 100 Cr, so , lets see the station I start has no missions that I can do as I dont have the necessary standings lol ..ok this is even for a courier missions offering 500 Cr.
Hmm , I got to the next 4 stations same thing now I am bit ...... and roaming around losing money with my fuel so one option? go to the next star system that looks not discovered would give some universal cartographic cash but lets see , I go there discover the star system and I find a USS ...I was like what the heck let me get into a fight
or run from it.
But before I do that I get interdicted lol .. Viper shows up and starts attacking me huh.. I have no cargo but he stills attacks with no conversations ..well I was thinking run or fight, I noticed he has no shields to start with so ..hmmm I have a joystick..I might win this one , so bring it on Viper
after 5-7 mins hes blown to pieces , yeah! Sidewinder wins against Viper , 1800 Cr! .
I feel this is a good start , and dock at the station , collect the bounty, and pick up a trade mission to the system I started of with nice!
that should get me an extra 500Cr.
I dock at the starting system to complete my trading run , sell the cargo and yess now I got more cash , but hmmm let me sell the cartographic data that I collected at the first for 606 Cr.
I click sell ...boom , 0 Cr ..I am like w.. just happened
I tried selling it again nothing happening 0 Cr.
Well looks like I got to find my Eagle and get to action on bounty hunting , do it the hard way.
Don't go to Roentgen Port to sell cartographics..not sure about other star systems

But I should add to this, Performance wise the game is very good , I see optimization has improved very well I like that
